MANILA: Police arrested three persons and seized P20,000-worth of suspected shabu in separate anti-drug operations in Lapu-Lapu City last Saturday.
Joel Dela Serna, 43, and Jade Balungcas, 26, were arrested a few meters from the Lapu-Lapu City Hall in barangay Pajo where they allegedly sold shabu to a poseur-buyer past 5 p.m. Saturday.
Police said they seized from Dela Serna’s possession 18 sachets of suspected shabu, P200 in marked money and assorted drug-sniffing paraphernalia.
Balungcas yielded a sachet of suspected shabu and drug paraphernalia, police said.
A separate buy-bust operation past 8 p.m. led to the arrest of Armando Dungog in barangay Canjulao.
Police said 14 pieces of suspected shabu and P200 in marked money were confiscated from the suspect’s possession.
Dungog’s alleged cohort identified as Melvin Ymbong eluded arrest.
