Passengers are requested to cooperate with the management in this effort to organise the boarding process. ATR flights have been excluded as the aircraft is small and all the passengers can easily board the plane together.

Meanwhile, PIA management has appointed Azim Abbas as head of Food Services Division (FSD) after promoting him as general manager (GM). PIA CEO Bernd Hildenbrand is laying special emphasis on revitalising the FSD in the airline. He directed the new GM to ensure that menus on PIA flights are changed regularly, keeping view the public feedback and highest standards of taste and hygiene be ensured.

Hildenbrand asked him to encourage innovation and improvisation in menus for both business and economy classes on domestic as well as international flights. He also asked the FSD to strengthen its mechanism for registering feedback from the passengers so that decision making can be done accordingly.
