PIAF demands single digit budget for 2016-17

LAHORE: The Pakistan Industrial and Traders Association Front (PIAF) has demanded the government announce tax free budget for the financial year 2016-17 for the growth of economy.

Talking to the media persons, PIAF Chairman Irfan Iqbal Shiekh said increment in taxes always exploited the taxpayers, while decrease in taxes always become major reason to expand tax net. He said that the government need to decrease taxes to strengthen national economy.

He said that traders always played key role in strengthening the national economy. He demanded that prices of gas should be fixed in the budget, because change in rates put a negative impact on the national economy.
