Diploma in Freight Forwarding to be launched soon

KARACHI: The Pakistan International Freight Forwarders Association (PIFFA) and International Federation of Freight Forwarding Association (FIATA) have decided to initiate “Diploma in Freight Forwarding” through carrying out vocational training.

According to details, PIFFA’s Freight Forwarding Diploma has been validated by FIATA based in Zurich, Switzerland, adding that the said diploma allows the holder to seek employment in freight forwarding industry.

“Those having this PIFFA Diploma are eligible to obtain FIATA International Diploma in Freight Forwarding on payment of processing fee only, as the PIFFA’s Diploma course material is based on Training programme validated by FIATA”, PIFFA Secretary General added.

The PIFFA office-bearer also described the benefits of acquiring the FIATA Diploma, adding that the FIATA diploma has a worldwide reputation in the industry, as the course is delivered by the FIATA recognised trainers having a unique and global distinction in the industry.

The Secretary General further informed this scribe that the PIFFA would also initiate more courses and diplomas in connection with freight forwarding industry in order to boost the employment opportunities in the field of freight forwarders industry.
