ISLAMABAD: The federal government provided Rs22 billion to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims) Hospital over the past three years, with the hospital’s financial details emerging after the devastating fire.
Last year, the federal government allocated Rs6.84 billion to Pims Hospital, but the hospital administration spent Rs7.51 billion, exceeding the allocated budget by Rs670 million.
The Pims Hospital administration also received the additional Rs670 million during the previous year.
For the current year, Rs7.63 billion has been allocated to Pims Hospital.
The federal government provided Rs500 million for repairs over the past three years, while Rs230 million has been allocated for repairs this year.
