KARACHI: Business community of Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) has demanded the establishment of an export-processing zone in the valley to facilitate the local traders.
Pakistan-Kashmir Business Forum (PKBF) President Sardar Maqbool Zaman urged the local and foreign investors to set up their units in AJK as the law and order situation of the area was ideal for industrialists. He asked the investors to shift their business in the valley, instead of investing abroad.
He said that the AJK government was also offering attractive incentives like tax holiday. The industries of assembling motorcycles, foam making, plastic goods and matchboxes can be run in AJK with great profitability.”
