WARSAW: Polish rail Freight Company PKP Cargo completed takeover of 80% in Czech logistics firm AWT for EUR 103.2 million, PKP Cargo said in a market filing.
WARSAW: PKP Cargo inked the takeover deal in late December and met all necessary conditions for the deal in mid-May. AWT operates in the Czech Republic, where it holds a nearly 10% market share in terms of the distance-volume of transported cargo, as well as in Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, Poland, Germany, Romania, Bulgaria, and Croatia. In 2014, AWT sported some EUR 31-32 million in EBITDA.
