Lahore: Punjab govt to earn Rs 5 billion annually by introducing e-stamp papers

LAHORE: The Planning and Development Department is working on a project of electronic stamp papers which is expected to complete in six months.
It was briefed during a meeting of planning and development department of Punjab that completion of e stamping project will increase the revenue of Punjab about Rs 5 billon every year. Manual stamp papers will be finished after the implementation of e stamping. Citizens will be able to submit their stamp fee in banks as the system of the stamping will be inline.
Secretary planning and development Punjab Irfaz elahi headed a meeting to observe the development of E-stamping project. This project will facilitate the citizens in sale and purchase of their properties as all record will be available on one click of computers.
