LAHORE: The Punjab government has announced to launch plant clinics in across the province, which will not only make the agriculture extension service more effective but also help improve the capacity building of agriculture officers.
According to the agriculture experts, the plant doctors would be able to provide guidance and technical assistance to farmers under one roof. Experts further said these clinics were being set up in Muzzafargarh, Khangarh, Sher Sultan, Khairpur Sadat, Gujrat, Kot Addu, Shah Jamal and other places.
Farmers would get timely guidance in these clinics about their queries, they added. They said setting up of plant clinics in Muzzafargarh district under Agriculture (Extension) department was good step.
