PLGMEA delegation meets Miftah Ismail

ISLAMABAD: A delegation of Pakistan Leather Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PLGMEA) had a meeting with Adviser to Prime Minister on Finance, Miftah Ismail here on Wednesday and discussed matters related to DLTL, Sales Tax refund and customs rebate in respect of PLGMEA.

The PLGMEA delegation was led by its Patron-in-Chief, Fawad Ijaz Khan according to a press statement issued by the Finance Ministry. The delegation requested for early disposal of refund/rebate related cases. Adviser Miftah Ismail assured the delegation of his full support and said the matter of refunds was under active consideration of the government and its early resolution was a priority of the prime minister.

He said the business community had an important role to play in strengthening of economy, adding the government would facilitate them in every possible way.
