PM approves summary for up-gradation of posts of assistants to BS-16

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has approved the summary regarding up-gradation of assistants posts from BS-14 to BS-16. The prime minister approved the summary after the court directions.

Sources informed Customs Today that 110 assistants, who are working in different departments of the FBR headquarters, will get promotions to higher grade. Sources informed that implementation on these orders will begin from July 1 after approval of fiscal budget 2016-17.

Now FBR assistants are demanding that implementation on these orders must be started from year 2010 because they already filed a case on this plea in Federal Service Tribunal. After hearing the arguments of both sides Federal Service Tribunal reserves its verdict on February 15, 2016.
