ISLAMABAD –Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif was briefed on various projects mainly pertaining to energy and infrastructure development that are part of the $45.6 billion China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and would come under discussion during the upcoming 4th Pakistan-China Joint Cooperation Commission (JCC) meeting.
The JCC meeting is scheduled for March 25 in Beijing. Chairing a preparatory meeting, the Prime Minister stressed a need for thorough preparation by ministries concerned for discussions during the JCC meeting and also directed all the participants to work beyond the call of duty for early implementation of CPEC projects.
