PM for increasing trade volume between Pak-Kyrgyz

BISHKEK: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif Thursday said that trade volume between Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan was not equal to the actual potential that exists, adding that both the countries should work to increase it.

He said that both countries must ensure that special bilateral ties were transformed into a strategic partnership encompassing all areas of bilateral relations.

In a meeting with President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambaev here, he said that relations between Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan continued to move from strength to strength.

He said Pakistan is eager to see a prosperous Central Asia with all countries connected by rail, road and air links and generating business.

He also appreciated Kyrgyz President’s leadership under which the country has seen remarkable development since independence.
