Barrister Hammad Azhar has won general election as MNA on the platform of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf from Lahore NA 126. He is son of ex-governor Punjab Mian Azhar. He is educated in law and economics. He will sit in same office which was used by ex-special assistant to prime minister Haroon Akhtar.

It is important to mention here that Barrister Hammad Azhar announced that as a member of parliament, he will not take any salary or cash allowance. “I will strive to follow the guidance of simplicity given by my leader Imran Khan,” Hammad wrote on Twitter.

The announcement by the MNA-elect from Lahore has widely been acclaimed by party workers and leadership alike. FBR high-ups have welcomed him and assured him of their full cooperation to promote and strengthen the tax system.
