PM Imran seeks details of court cases decided in favour of Pakistan Customs

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has asked all the chief collectors and director generals to inform his office about the court cases disposed in favour of Pakistan Customs.

According to details available with Customs Today that  2nd reminder No.1 (44) S (Lit-HC) Cus/2019 sent by Secretary Legal Customs of FBR that in shortest time all the Customs Collectorates working under the Chief Collectors and the Directorate Generals are requested to provide data that how many cases those were run in different courts has been decided.

The Second Secretary Coordination of FBR (Federal Board of Revenue) has again required reporting update on how much revenue has been recovered from the cases disposed of in the favor of government the letter stated.

It mentioned that the field formation of the customs collectorates and directorate general are once again requested to furnished the information in respect of cases pertaining to the High Court and the Supreme Courts wherein the recovery has been made, it reveal that the statements regarding winning cases may please send to the Board as soon as possible so it could dispatch to PM (Prime Minister) office timely.
