LONDON: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will face the heat on tax disputes with foreign firms when he meets British authorities and CEOs this week, as British explorer Cairn Plc had to fire 40 per cent of its staff and defer investments due to the tax issue in India, the company’s Chief Executive Simon Thomson said.
“It would be point of focus again. The question would be raised again, and it would remain a question mark in people’s eyes until they actually act.
