PM welcomes keen interest of foreign investors in power sector

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has stated that his government is working on different power projects for energy generation. He welcomed the keen interest of foreign investors in the key sector.

He was talking to a delegation of China Three Gorges Corporation who met prime minister prior to inking of two Memorandam of Understanding at the PM House. The prime minister said that his government was offering public private partnership on equity basis on several of the on-going and future power projects as it seriously wants to put an end to power crisis that was having a negative impact on country’s agricultural and industrial growth.
