PMEX index closes at 3,105 points

KARACHI: Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited’s commodity index on Monday closed at 3,105 points. The traded value of metals, energy and COTS/FX was recorded at Rs 4.048 billion and the number of lots traded was 7,297, says PMEX release on Tuesday.

The major business was contributed by gold amounting to Rs 1.304 billion, followed by currencies through COTS Rs 1.154 billion, WTI crude oil Rs 536.957 million, DJIA Rs 460.865 million, silver Rs 227.520 million, platinum Rs 132.596 million, copper Rs 96.796 million, natural gas Rs 84.401 million, NSDQ100 Rs 25.267 million, SNP500 Rs 19.579 million and Brent crude oil Rs 5.278 million.
