The tanker, inducted through its subsidiary Lahore Shipping Pvt Ltd, has a deadweight tonnage of 112,051 tonnes, significantly enhancing the corporation’s cargo carrying capacity, as shown in the disclosure document.

The development follows an earlier announcement made in October 2025 regarding fleet expansion, with the latest induction marking a key milestone in strengthening Pakistan’s national shipping capabilities.

The addition of large capacity vessels such as Aframax tankers is expected to support energy transportation needs and improve efficiency in handling bulk oil shipments, reinforcing PNSC’s role in the country’s maritime logistics and trade infrastructure.
