ISLAMABAD: The prices of petroleum products may be increased from first of October as Oil and Gas Regulating Authority (Ogra) has sent a a summary for changes in POL price to the finance ministry.
Sources said that the extra General Sales Tax (GST) in a major hurdle in relief for the consumers. The Ogra has asked to increase the prices of high octane, kerosene oil and light diesel by Rs2, while 10 paisa reduction in petrol prices has been suggested. The summary contradicts the trends in global oil markets.
