WARSAW: Poland’s WWK composite corporate leading sentiment indicator declined by 0.6 pts month on month in July to 158.1 pts, falling after three consecutive months of slight increases, indicating that the economic growth rate will not change significantly until the end of 2015, according to the WWK report from the BIEC agency.
The weakening labor efficiency, a trend observed for almost two years now, is the key factor limiting opportunities for a faster growth, the report reads. This efficiency could be improved only by investments. Of eight WWK components, two contributed positively, two were neutral and four had a negative contribution.
Enterprises report a decline in incoming orders for the second month in a row, while inventories have been on the rise since the start of the year. Assessment of financial situation of companies worsened significantly from June, but this may be only a temporary occurrence, BIEC writes.
