WARSAW: Poland’s biggest oil refiner PKN Orlen is considering increasing the scale of its oil imports from Saudi Arabia, PKN’s chief financial officer Slawomir Jedrzejrzyk told a news conference on Thursday.
“We are in constant contact with Saudi Aramco, we are importing one tanker (with oil) per month. We are considering increasing the scale (of imports),” Jedrzejczyk said.
Jedrzejczyk also said PKN is considering importing oil from Iran. “We are monitoring the situation in Iran, we are considering importing a tanker from this counrty,” he said. He added that PKN is not planning any upstream acquisitions this year.
