Police arrests 10 drug pushers, recovers contraband items

SARGODHA: The District Police on Monday claimed to have arrested ten drug peddlers and recovered narcotics and illegal weapons from their possession.

According to Police, during continued operation against criminals, the teams of different Police stations raided in their respective jurisdictions and arrested ten accused recovering 3710 grams Heroin, 950 grams Hashish, 3 Kalashnikovs, 3 rifles 44 bore and 05 pistols 30 bore, 1 Revolver, 1 gun 12 bore and 1 mouser along with 370 bullets and cartridges from them.

The accused were identified as Muhammad Khan, Suhail Abid, Atif Iqbal, Waqas Iqbal, Rafaqat Iqbal, Muhammad Shahbaz, Irshad Ullah, Abid Hussain, Hamad Afzal and Muhammad Arif.

The Police have also arrested 10 Proclaimed Offenders from different areas of the District involved in heinous crimes. Cases have been registered against the accused.
