Police deployed to Pipara Bhagawanpur VDC along the Gaur-Chandranighapur road section had confiscated the truck after finding that it was transporting more goods than what were mentioned in the bills, according to SP Madan Singh Bista.

Bista lauded the role played by the APF in curbing the illegal trade in the Nepal-India bordering areas despite challenges posed by the open border.

Meanwhile, the revenue collection has gone up after the end of Madhes agitation.

If the trend continued, the revenue collection would exceed the target, said Bista.
