Polish air line LOT posts PLN 99.4m on core operations in 2014

WARSAW: Poland’s national carrier PLL LOT released a statement that it has recorded a PLN 99.4 million profit on core operations in 2014, i.e. 40% more than the company envisaged in its plans for 2014.

“It’s a result by PLN 30 million higher than envisaged in the restructuring plan and PLN 103 million better than in 2013,” the company said.

EBITDA measured PLN 291 million, up from PLN 156 million a year earlier. Adjusted net profit, cleared of one-offs and accounting effects, measured almost PLN 36 million. The non-adjusted net result was negative at PLN 263.4 million.
