WARSAW: In April, 60 Polish companies went bankrupt, 5 less than in April last year, their turnover totaled PLN 400 million, their employment amounted to 1900 people, according to Euler Hermes, a credit insurance company.
According to the report, the number of bankruptcies in the service and the manufacturing sectors has increased, while in the construction sector the number of bankruptcies has declined. In total, the number of companies that went under decreased by 7 percent year-on-year.
