WARSAW: The Polish economy grew 3 percent in the first quarter of this year, less than expected by markets, the country’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) said in a flash estimate on Friday.
The market had expected growth of 3.4 – 3.5 percent. Fuller data is to be released by the Central Statistical Office on 31 May. In the final quarter of 2015, Polish GDP rose 4.3 percent year on year.
