WARSAW: Legia Warsaw was sold for €24.5 million, which translates to roughly PLN 100 million, Puls Biznesu reported.
Last January, the ITI Group sold the soccer team to its chief executive, Bogusław Leśnodorski (who acquired a 20 percent stake), and his business partner Dariusz Mioduski (an 80 percent stake). The new owners purchased 100 percent of the shares, along with the debt.
Leśnodorski and Mioduski will pay the price in a few installments. ITI received €10 million while the deal was being signed. The businessmen are obligated to repay the former owner all of the club’s loans taken out before 2014, by 2018.
