Polish manufacturing index fall 1.3pts to 52.4 pts in May

WARSAW: Poland’s manufacturing sector purchasing managers’ index PMI, a gauge of manufacturing, fell by 1.6 pts month on month to 52.4 points in May after a 0.8 pts decrease in the previous month, a report by HSBC and Markit showed.

“Output and new orders both rose at the slowest rates since last October, with the pace of expansion in the latter easing for the fourth month in succession since the start of the year,” the statement reads.
