WARSAW: Poland’s PMI (Purchasing Managers’ Index) fell in June to 51.8 points from 52.1 points in May, according to Markit, a provider of financial information services.
Analysts had expected the PMI to climb to 52.6 points in June. A neutral PMI rating of 50 means that businesspeople in the country feel that the economy will not change over the next month. A higher rating means that they expect it to improve, while a PMI rating below 50 indicates that many think it will deteriorate.
