WARSAW: The unemployment rate in Poland dropped to 8.2 percent in October, according to the Central Statistical Office (GUS).
Around 1.31 million Poles registered as unemployed last month. In September, the registered unemployment rate was 8.3 percent, when 1.32 million people were registered as out of work. The Polish labour market is “hot” and is creating new jobs, Piotr Juczyński, an analyst at Xelion, told the PAP news agency.
