WARSAW: Wawel, a Polish confectionery company, is planning to acquire stake in Droste, Dutch chocolate producer. Droste is a subsidiary of Wawel’s largest shareholder, Hosta International. Droste was founded in 1863.
It used to be one of the leading Dutch confectionery firms. Currently, the company records around €7-8 million revenue. It was purchased by Hosta Group.
