WARSAW: Poland’s average corporate gross wage rose to PLN 4,093 a month in June, climbing 2.5% year on year and up 0.9% up month on month, the Central Statistical Office said Thursday.
Economists surveyed by the PAP news agency had expected a 4.2% increase year on year on a monthly increase of 2.6%. Poland’s corporate sector employed 5.578 million people in June, up 0.9% y/y and flat m/m vs. 1.1% annual and 0.2% monthly growth expected.
