MULTAN: The Punjab government has directed the Population Welfare Department to observe Family Planning Week to create awareness about population increase.
The district government conducted an awareness walk from Raza Hall to Chowk Katchery in this regard. Civil society and the department officials took part in the walk.
“Due to rapid increase in population our problems are also increasing. Complications are also growing day by day due to high population as our national resources are inadequate for the existing population. The need of the hour is to control population,” said Additional District Collector Ali Annan Qamar.
