Port activity: 137,075 containers berthed on March 18

KARACHI: Total cargo of 137,075 containers was berthed at port, including 108,950 containers of import cargo and 28,125 containers of export cargo on March-18.

Among all berthed cargo, there was 666,83 containerized cargo of imports, 28,115 of exports which is to be made total containerized cargo of 94798.

Similarly, the bulk cargo of 4,054 containers was imported on March 18; 10 containers were exported which made total of 4,064 containers.

There were no import and export containers/cargo of cement, a bulk of loose cement and coal was witnessed on March 18.

The total 4,513 containers of fertilizer were imported on port on March-18 adding that 4,404 containers were imported of S B Meal.

The total bulk cargo was reported on port on March-18 were 8917containers; total 107,779 containers of dry cargo including 76654 of Imports and 28,125 of Exports were berthed at port on March-18.

Total number of oil/liquid cargo which were imported on March-18 were 29296.
