Port of Singapore throughput down 3.8% to 92.27 mln t in Jan-Feb’16

SINGAPORE: Cargo volumes handled at the Port of Singapore in January-February 2016 fell by 3.8%, year-on-year to 92.27 million tonnes, the Port Authority statistics show.

The volume of oil cargo climbed by 1.9% to 32.7 million tonnes, while container throughput fell by 9.9% to 4.9 million TEUs.
