KARACHI: The Model Customs Collectorate Port Qasim collected Rs18.23 billion in duty and taxes in first 15 days of June 2017.
Sources said that the Collectorate collected Rs5.25 billion customs duty, Rs10.67 billion sales tax, Rs2.14 billion income tax and Rs170 million federal excise duty in the above said period.
The Port Qasim Collectorate collected Rs41.70 billion against the assigned target of Rs41.24 billion in May 2017.
Officials at Port Qasim Collectorate said that the Collectorate’s performance is not affected by Ramzan and they will achieve the assigned target before eid.
