LONDON: Port Vale have begun making inquiries about loan players from English clubs as they put together a squad for their new manager. The Valiants are poised to unveil their boss today, with 40-year-old Portuguese coach Bruno Ribeiro expected to be confirmed as Rob Page’s replacement, a month after Page departed for League One rivals Northampton.
Chairman Norman Smurthwaite has told fans, via Twitter, that offers have been made to ’13 continental players’ but The Sentinel understands the Valiants have also been sounding out English clubs about loan deals.
