KARACHI: Six ships carrying crude oil, containers, vehicle, cement and steel are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage of Karachi Port on Thursday, said a KPT source.

KARACHI: Two ships carrying containers arrived at the outer anchorage during the last 24 hours, said a PQA release.

Meanwhile three ships carrying containers and edible oil also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Nine ships were busy in loading and offloading containers, rice chemical, wheat, sunflower seed, furnace oil and edible oil.

A cargo volume of 117279 tonnes comprising 79718 tonnes of import and 37561 tonnes of export was handled.
