Post Clearance Audit starts shifting manual data on WeBOC

KARACHI: The authorities concerned of the Directorate of Post Clearance Audit-PCA have started to transfer its all manual data on computerized system after getting access on automated PCA-Module, formed by the Directorate of Reforms & Automation (R&A), it is learnt here.

The sources informed Customs Today that the authorities concerned of PCA while following the directives of Director PCA-Gul Rehman have started to computerized all manual data of the directorate.

The sources informed this scribe that the data of the directorate since the year 2008 is being computerized and the authorities concerned are shifting all related data on automated PCA module.

Responding to a query, the sources further said that all related data would be transferred and shifted on computerized module by the end of this month i.e. April, which is indeed a significant effort by the Director PCA and all other authorities concerned.

It is pertinent to mention here that the Director General of the Directorate General of Post Clearance Audit-PCA Junaid Ikram visited Karachi Customs House and held meeting with the Director R&A Majid Yousfani on evolving PCA-Module on WeBOC.

Subsequently, the authorities concerned of R&A and Directorate of PCA discussed upon the feasibility of the PCA Module during several meetings and eventually, the authorities concerned of Reforms & Automation has successfully launched the PCA module on WeBOC automated system.

The sources further said that the automation of the data will certainly help the authorities concerned of the directorate to improve their performance and ensure maintaining the effectiveness of the directorate.
