Posts of 327 IR Audit officers/Assistant Directors (Audit) upgraded to BS-18

ISLAMABAD: The posts of 327 Inland Revenue Audit officers/Assistant Directors (Audit) has been upgraded from BS-16 to BS-18 with effect from July 1, 2010.

These posts were upgraded in compliance with the judgement of Lahore High Court dated May 24, 2011 in writ petition No 21651/2010 upheld by Supreme Court of Pakistan vide order dated April 22, 2016 and as approved by Establishment Division vide OM No 8/4/2010-R-I dated August 26, 2016 and Finance Division OM No F No 2(3)/R-2/2016-918 dated November 30, 2016.
