ISLAMABAD – Capital Development Authority would ensure not only the provision of quality vegetables, fruit and other edible items of daily usage at its weekly bazaars but also the excess availability of these items, said CDA Member Administration and Estate Amer Ali Ahmed said
He directed the CDA’s weekly bazaar administration to ensure supply items at prescribed affordable rates, says a press release issued here. Amer Ali said this while chairing a meeting held at CDA headquarters to assess the demand and supply of daily use items being provided at CDA’s weekly bazaars. The meeting was attended by the Director Security and other relevant officers of the Authority.
He was informed that that Potato, Onion, Tomato, Ginger, Peas, Carrot, Bell pepper, Pomegranate, Guava and Orange were sold at Rs 40, 30, 60, 240, 90, 40, 140, 380, 100 and 120 per kg / dozen respectively in other markets of Islamabad while these commodities were sold at Rs 25, 25, 40, 116, 60, 24, 56, 180, 60 and 80 per kg / dozen respectively in CDA weekly bazaars in Islamabad last week.
