KARACHI: The power supply to several areas of central Karachi, discontinued as extra-high tension wire of K-Electric tripped overnight.
The breakdown caused seven grid station to grind to a halt, leaving several areas including New Karachi, Gulshan-e-Iqabal, Nazimabad, FB Area and Sohrab Goth into dark.
The sources said the restoration of power supply can take several hours.
