Power transmission capacity increased from 13,500MW to 16,300MW: Abid

LAHORE: State Minister for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali, addressing a press conference at Wapda House, has said that the government has increased the electricity transmission capacity from 13,500MW to 16,300MW

He also claimed that the government to boost up power generation at 20,000MW by the end of 2016, adding, “Water and power ministry stretched 1500km-long new transmission and up-graded many grid stations.” He also claimed that low-voltage and loadshedding problems will end after two and half year.
