PRA raids yet another tax defaulter in Rawalpindi

LAHORE: Punjab Revenue Authority raids Umar Abdullah International (man power recruitment agent) located at Commercial Market Rawalpindi.

The agent was registered with PRA and had a tax liability of Rs36 million as sales tax on services rendered. Upon default the Authority not only noticed the agent but twice tried to recover the liability  via bank attachment but on no recovery Arsalan Tariq (Enforcement Officer) on directions of Commissioner Rawalpindi, Tauqeer Ahmad Sujra and Chairperson, Javaid Badar proceeded to seal the premises.
