PRA recovers Rs23b in first four months of FY 2016-17: Chairman Raheel Siddiqui

LAHORE: Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) has recovered Rs23 billion during first four months of current Fiscal Year 2016-17.

Talking to Customs Today Chairman PRA Raheel Siddiqui congratulated the officers and staff of Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) for setting a new revenue collection record of Rs.23 billion in just four months.

He said that this is the highest collection ever recorded by any tax collection agency at sub-national level in four months. This will took PRA’s collection on new height to Rs 90 billion up to June 2017.

The total collection figure for Financial Year 2015-17 compared against the collection figure of Rs. 6 billion recorded for the Financial Year 2015-16 and reflected an astonishing growth which remains unmatched by any other tax collection agency in the country.

He said that Punjab Revenue Authority is using all available resources to collect more revenue to meet the revenue collection target set for Fiscal Year 2016-17.
