LAHORE: Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) sealed twelve Marriage halls in different locations of the city. These marriage halls were involved in sales tax evasion and did not have National Tax Numbers (NTN).
Sources told Customs Today that on the directions of Punjab Revenue Authority Chairman Dr Raheel Sadique , a team comprising assistant director Kashif Nawaz Malik, inspector Soba Khan, Aftab Waqar and others raided Shahdara, Data Darbar, Mohni Road and other places and sealed 12 marriage halls due to nonpayment of sales tax.
Marriage halls that are sealed including Khursheed Marriage Hall, Khan Marriage Hall, Al Munawar Marriage Hall, New Khursheed Marriage Garden, New Jahanzaib Marriage Hall, Madni Marriage Hall, Bilal Marriage Hall, Asad Marriage Hall, Jalal Marriage Hall, Grace Banquet Hall, Bhatti Marriage Hall and Mehfil Khas Marriage Hall.
