PRA seals famous restaurant in Lahore for defaulting on sales tax

LAHORE: The Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) has sealed a restaurant “Chaye Coffee and Sayasat” for defaulting on sales tax worth Rs 0.9 million on Tuesday.

Sources told Customs Today that the Punjab Revenue Authority team led by Assistant Commissioner Altaf Husain sealed Chaye Coffee and Sayasat located on MM Alam Road Gulberg for defaulting on the sales tax.

Sources said that the team also sealed two other restaurants last day while the crackdown against defaulters  of sales tax will remain continue in coming days. Sources said that Punjab Revenue Authority is using all available resources to collect outstanding revenue from defaulters to meet the assigned revenue generation target for Fiscal Year 2016-17.
