WARSAW: Australia’s miner Prairie Mining Ltd. will dual list in Warsaw and London in the coming days, the firm said in a press statement.
Prairie Mining has just got its issue prospectus approved by Britain’s Financial Conduct Authority, with a notification sent to the Polish regulator KNF. Apart from Warsaw, the miner’s shares will quoted in London and in Sydney.
The Warsaw debut is connected to Prairie Mining’s plans of building a coal mine in Poland’s eastern Lubelskie region and reflects the firm’s “long-term approach to investment in Poland,” the statement reads.
The company will apply for a mining concession in 2016. The target output is 6 million tons of coal a year. Total spending on the project is estimated at USD 684 million. The investment will create up to 2,000 jobs and can indirectly generate another 10.000.
