It is pertinent to note that PRAL had engaged a headhunting firm to shortlist candidates for the position of Chief Executive Officer prior to finalizing the appointment.

Faisal Sattar is a business executive with experience in leadership roles, previously CEO of telecom-related firms, including Engro Enfrashare and the Universal Service Fund.

The position of CEO PRAL fell vacant after the expiry of tenure of Amir Malik as he repeatedly declined the offer to extend his tenure.

Subsequently, Chairman FBR has assigned the look after charge of CEO PRAL to Hamid Attique, a former member IR operations FBR, to run the day-to-day affairs.
